The Most Distinctive Beach in Oregon is at Seaside!!!
I've seen many of them, from North (Astoria) to South (Brookings), and the beach at Seaside is the one I remember from childhood. Of course, I think it's the best. And many agree with me. You won't find a larger, flat expanse of soft white sand and gentle sea anywhere on the Coast. It's wonderfully fronted by a long quaint Promenade, lined with cottages, resorts, and hotels. Walk, Roller skate, or simply sit and watch fellow escapees stroll by in shared joy!!
The activities on the beach at the famous "Turnaround" never cease. You'll find volleyball, many kites, dogs, kids, sand tricycles, swimming (yes even this very cold Pacific!), and sunbathing. The city is bustling with fun and friends all summer. Lots to see and do. If you like to be around people having lots of fun, Seaside is the place for you.
